This blog was originally my journal, I have made those entries as private and password protected. The reason I have done this is because I want to take a new direction with this blog. That new direction is geared towards helpful information about raising a boy, some information can help with raising a girl, too.
I have a son, who will be turning 9 years old soon. I feel that I have grown up and have had to raise my self along with raising my son. It has been a wonderful journey.
I recently became a Den Leader to a group of six awesome boys, these guys are teaching me as much as I am teaching them, so you may see a couple of post on our activities as well. I also encourage you, if you have a son to sign up for Scouts, are pack accepts boys as early as Kindergarten. This group instills great values in the boy at an early age.
